Commander Rogers Toys at SDCC 2011

The Hasbro Toy booth at San Diego this year had many wonderful Captain America toys. Some are already out and then they had some previews of some upcoming releases. One of the interesting upcoming ones is a Commander Rogers figure (Steve Rogers' look while Bucky took over as the official Captain America). This figure looks tall, maybe 10-12 inches, if I'm remembering correctly.

There was also a smaller version of the figure as seen below. I think this is part of the FIRST AVENGER line of figures and listed as Figure #21.

LA Times Cap Magazine

Just to show you how big Comic-Con has gotten, the LA Times did a special magazine on the First Avenger movie and other super heroes. This was also included as a free giveaway at the Horton Plaza special screening.

The Cap Cosplay from San Diego continues. This time, Mom takes up the shield!! Actually, this is her version of American Dream, the alternate reality daughter of Cap and Sharon Carter. The cosplayer's real life daughter was also cosplaying as the White Queen, Emma Frost.

Cap Gets Engaged at SDCC 2011!!

Entertainment Weekly

We take a break from the San Diego Comic-Con Cosplay (plenty more to come!) and feature one of the earlier glimpses of Chris Evans as Captain America from ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY from November 2010. I think most, when they saw this, started to think that maybe Evans could pull it off. A great cover!
